2024 - Update 23:


Clontarf's SG281 is seen operating the first Clontarf departure on the P29 from Adamstown Station at O'Connell Bridge on the 19th August 2024 (click on photo for larger version).

On the 19th August 2024 Clontarf acquired 5 new Euro boards operating Routes 70, 140, P29 and X28. As noted last week this was due to a cascade of movements from Route 150 moving from Ringsend to Summerhill and Route 33 (selected services) moving from Summerhill to Harristown. A further board will begin operation from Clontarf on the 26th August, with the formerly Harristown operated Route 42D returning from its summer break to be Clontarf operated. The 70D remains Harristown operated.

The departures which moved from Harristown to Clontarf, joining the 142 departures which moved a few weeks ago, are as follows:

  • Route 70: The 0740 ex Dunboyne, and the 0930 ex Burlington Road (which is operated by the bus that operates the 0741 P29 ex Adamstown).
  • Route 140: The 0755, 0803 and 1625 ex Ikea, and the 1750 ex Palmerston Park.
  • Route P29: The 0741 ex Adamstown Station and the 1720 ex Ringsend Road.
  • Route X28: The 0750 ex Salesian College, the 1630 and 1715 from UCD, and the 1750 from Leeson Street Lower.
  • Route 42D (not starting until 26th August): The 0730 ex Portmarnock and the 1710 ex DCU.
