Photo of the Week - Week 36:

Harristown's DT7 is seen operating a evening "Euro" peak-hour service on Route 39A at Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on the 25th July 2014.

The summer months can be boring with a reduced vehicle requirement meaning that some of the more interesting vehicles are not required for service. With schools now back, the older and more unusual buses are back out in force, a lot of which are on borrowed time due to the recent arrival of the SG class buses, which are close to entering service. Harristown's DT-class were also less visible during the summer months with less Euro duties being fulfilled. One service which did consistently operate was the Harristown operated 1700 ex-Belfield Route 39A, which more than likely was a DT, often being DT7. I caught up with the this bus twice over the summer on this departure.
