Photo of the Week - Week 13:

Former Summerhill WV38 is seen at the Griffith Avenue terminus of Route 123 on the 27th October 2010.

A stroll through the archives today. Its the end of October 2010, and a big change is looming for Route 123. The EVs are just about to be transferred from Harristown, and the high-frequency service operated by the mix of WVs and RVs due to be replaced with a fully double-deck 10min headway service. This new service began on the 14th November 2010, the last photo I have of the route being WV35 on Saturday 13th November 2010. I'll save that photo for another day. I spent a lot of time in Marino over the years, and the WVs were always busily hurrying around these narrow streets. I'm always disappointed that I didn't get more photos of WVs there, at least though I did get a few.

WV24 is seen turning onto Croydon Park Avenue operating Route 123 to Kilnamanagh Road on the 27th October 2010.
