New SG had continued apace until July, however there has been an interlude. This is an expected scenario, with Wright's taking a summer break during July. By Wright's summer break both Donnybrook and Harristown had placed new SG buses into service. Donnybrook put SG567 into service on the 29th May, a number of days ahead of any other new bus. By mid-July, they had nearly their full batch in service, with SG567-SG572, SG574-SG576, and SG578-SG581 having operated in service, leaving only SG573 and SG577 from Donnybrook's batch. Harristown had put SG582 into service on the 2nd July, as noted above, with SG584 and SG585 also seeing service. What was unexpected is that these batches are currently off-service since the 10th July, replaced by buses which were meant to be off for the summer, such as Donnybrook's EV23-EV29. With the SG dominance in the city fleet, its hard to notice that a few haven't been on the roads for a few days.
