Harristown's AX547 is seen turning onto the new contra-flow bus lane arrangement on the last day of Route 15's service to St. Stephen's Green, as part of Luas rearrangements, on the 17th January 2015.
With Suffolk Street closed in mid-January for Luas works on Nassau Street, there was a major rearrangement of bus services. The principle ones however relate to the Rathmines bound services which no longer serve St. Stephen's Green. This image of the week shows a few photos of the last day prior to the beginning of the works. The routes are destined to return, though one would wonder whether custom will be lost during this time. It would seem like some routes could have been kept, the 14 being a prime example.
Ringsend's AX459 is seen on Earlsfort Terrace operating Route 15A on the 17th January 2015. Earlsfort Terrace has had a severe reduction in service, with now only 2 buses per hour typically in each direction.
Summerhill's GT59 operating Route 14 is seen overtaking Phibsborough's SG10 on Route 37 as evening sets on the last day of services on Suffolk Street for a number of months on the 17th January 2015.
