Donnybrook's AX647 is seen in its new tri-sided wrap for Dublin Bus celebrating its involvement in Dublin Pride 2018, operating Route 47, about to depart the Poolbeg Street Terminus on the 21st June 2018 (click on photo for larger version).
Two buses were wrapped last weekend to celebrate Dublin Bus' involvement with Dublin Pride 2018, namely Donnybrook's AX647 and Ringsend's AX488. The bus features the rainbox colours, and each bus proclaims itself as "The Proudest Bus". The wrap is quite attractive and a step up from last year's. The fact that Dublin Bus have wrapped two buses compared to last year's one shows how much positive light the bus generated while on the streets, it lasting in the wrap quite a bit longer than expected. Last year AX523 was the Pride Bus, see here and here. This is not the first tri-sided wrap for either bus. AX488 is straight out of its tri-side for Cadbury (see here), and AX647 previously carried a tri-side for Coca-Cola back in 2014 (see here). The Pride March takes place on June 30th 2018, with at least one (if not both) of the buses expected in the parade itself.
