Summerhill's VG49 is seen at the Terminal 1 terminus of Route 747 on the 30th September 2015.
Sometimes things go against you. Heading up to Dublin on a random Wednesday to catch VG49, AV391 and AV415 in their new Lucosade adverts seemed like a great idea. What I wasn't aware was that they would spend most of their day in Donnybrook garage on a photo call for the advertising agency (see here). VG49 had made it out on one of the very early 33s before pulling in around 10am, whereas the others didn't seem to be out at all. Thankfully VG49 did return back out for the evening peak, albeit the fading light at Dublin Airport was not ideal conditions. But with such rare opportunities in Dublin nowadays, and the limited times these buses spend in these incomplete AOAs, I was delighted to find at least one.

The three buses are in slightly differt liveries. VG49, the first VG to receive a tri-sided AOA, is done out with Cian Healy as the Irish team player, whereas AV415 has Conor Murray and AV391 has Sean O'Brien. Hopefully there will be another opportunity to get these buses, maybe if we win the competition they can be left forever ☺. Fingers crossed for the match tomorrow. COYBIG!!!
