Photo of the Week - Week 49:

Phibsborough's Alexander Dennis Enviro500 bodied Volvo B9TL, VT55, is seen operating a rare Saturday outing on Route 66 on the 13th July 2013.

Though the Blanchardstown services are principally associated with the VT-class in Phibsborough, these buses do operate 33X and Lucan Road services. The Lucan Road services are primarily Universal-type duties, operating only at the evening peak on Xpresso Routes 66X, 67X and also on Broadstone operated services on Routes 25A/25B and the 66 group of services. On occasion a VT will make it onto regular all day service on the 66 group of services, with weekend operation even more rare. This feature includes three weekend operated services on Route 66, which offers more rural locations for the VT spotter.

Phibsborough's VT52 is seen operating Route 66 on O'Connell Bridge on Saturday 27th July 2013.

Phibsborough's VT61 is seen on Station Road, Leixlip, operating a Route 66 service on Sunday 22nd September 2013. This is the only time this author has seen a VT on Sunday service on 66, the reason for the allocation being the FlightFest organised in the City Centre that day.
