Photo of the Week - Week 37:

Something new is always good. And EVs in advert wraps is something new. There are currently three on the city streets, EV61 and EV62 in Ringsend which are topic of this update, and EV94 in Donnybrook which will be featured on these pages in the coming weeks. These are just three of the wraps recently to hit the streets, with AX461, AX462 and AX464 having a Boo-Hoo wrap applied, which will be next week's image of the week. EV61 went into service on the 20th August 2018 in its new Aussie wrap, the first EV to ever have a tri-sided wrap. I have to admit the EVs lend themselves well to a wrap. Let's hope that the trend of EV wraps continue.

EV62 obtained a tri-sided wrap for Repak on the 20th September 2018, and again looks very smart. Both buses were allocated to Route 1 on Saturday 15th September, along with AX519 and AX461 also in a wrap. This followed a few days of 5 wrapped buses on the 49, with AX488 joining the former buses in the allocation. There seemed to be some order to it, and hopefully Ringsend continue this tact, as it made getting these photos easy.
